"We visited Salem and stayed at The Stables Inn in a King Suite. We had 3 people staying in the room so it worked out perfectly as it essentially turned into 2 rooms. 

I had actually called the day before we were going to check-in to see how early that we could check in. They weren’t sure since the room we were going to have was occupied but said they’d put it first on their cleaning list for the next day. They actually called me at 10:30 the next day and told me the room had been cleaned and we could check in whenever we wanted. That is great service!

There is a free breakfast of pastries, fruit, coffee and water which was greatly appreciated. 

This hotel is located downtown and walking distance to everything.
